• Nicolette Renee Perico has arrived. Weighing in at 7 pounds and 20.5 inches tall. Perfectly healthy and mommy is doing great!! 
• Todd Hayes and his wife Florina are proud parents to their second child, whose birthday is March 25 "Mia Florica Hayes was born 39 minutes after midnight!  She weighs 7lbs. 11oz."

February, 2014

• Spring Alumni Weekend is scheduled for the weekend of April 25.
• The House experienced severe water damage in Dec. and Jan. due to the freezing of the water pipes. The exec is attempting to put in stricter policies and procedures to prevent this type of damage in the future.

December, 2013

Two random events regarding NYKT alum:

1. Joe Plunkett wins a car on Wheel of Fortune. The episode is rated an 8 out of 10 by a human being who rates Wheel of Fortune episodes.
2. Jeff Ehrlich is quoted in Newsday regarding Amazon's futuristic delivery drones.

November, 2013

• Successful alumni turkey dinner was held on November 23rd.  This event has expanded into a legit alumni weekend.  
• The physical house is in good shape largely due to efforts of Housing Corporation (couches, external lighting, flagpole), so the concept is working.
• Glad to see the members of the house are properly maintaining the US flag according to the proper protocols.

• Zach Piech's daughter, Lily, was born on October 24.

September, 2013

• Alumni Meeting / Turkey Dinner will be Saturday, November 23.
• Alumni update from Ryan Koppes: "Joe Hughes had an RPI/Pi Lam reunion, wait, I mean wedding at Wachusett a few weeks ago. It was amazing, and the best part was he had fellow pi lam Tim Piemonte marry him.

• Congratulations Mike and Jen Lubonski! Christian Thomas was born on July 25th.
• John Wesson updates the Living History page: at nyktalumni.blogspot.com: "A couple of comments about the move-in years. Clark Kashmeire was probably the other brother who helped pour the concrete with Lyle during the summer. Jim Scott and Ward (??) poured the concrete in what was later known as the 'pit' after the brothers started to populate the house. Dan Alper and I bought the industrial quality Vulcan stove toward the end of the previous semester (trading in the stove from 248 Eighth Street) I beleive this is the same stove in the 300 Pawling Ave. house today (with many replacement parts.)"
