- Repeated from Facebook: Once again it's time for
the annual TurkeyDay at the House. Come to Troy and see all the changes
that have occurred in the past year. Friday night 11/16 (5:30pm) there will be an ice hockey game at the Knickerbacker Ice Arena and the usual fun & games post-play.
Saturday 11/17 the fun continues with both mayhem in the kitchen & the State of the State House Corp meeting at 10am.
Alumni cooks will take over, but the Pledges have been bribed (with goodies) to assist as needed. If you want to make a dish, post what ingredients you need in the comments. The Dinner Line begins at 4pm with dinner served 6-ish baring any crisis with the ovens. Watch Pat explode a Turkey in the fryer! Watch Melnick do knife tricks! Watch potatoes get mashed with a Paint Mixer!
The dinner is BYOB, and Alumni are encouraged to make a small donation to cover the food costs (suggested $10). If you've been here before, you know that what you get is worth 5 times that - entertainment value alone! - Florin Neamtu's daughter, Hailey, was born on October 15th. She weighed 8 lbs., 5 oz.
- Ian Marlow and his wife Lisa welcomed Isabella Madison Marlow on Thursday 9/27 at 10:09 PM. She weighed 7 lbs., 15 oz.

- Karl Oestreich and I (Darren Felzenberg) attended an Orioles game in Camden Yards. It was a good time. The only problem is that the Orioles won. Other NYKT attendees elsewhere in the ballpark were Ben King, Brad Dunn, Chris Vena, Brendan Gormley, Griffin Kean, and Wyatt Parsons. Also, Joba Chamberlain is very fat.
- Speaking of baseball, I received a nice note from Gavin "Bro-Lender" Olender, who is following the Yankees in Germany. He and his wife follow felzball.blogspot.com for all the up-to-date baseball information.
- Tony Dazzo sent a link of an R2-D2 keg.
